Poetic Goods x Share Our Spare Community Service Day

Parents in financial crisis often must prioritize food, rent and other basic needs over diapers, wipes and baby supplies, making impossible decisions for the wellbeing of their family. Share Our Spare (SOS) ensures every Chicago area child, ages 0-5, has the essential items they need to support their health and development and equip them for a strong start. Volunteer activities involve sorting, quality checking, and bundling brand-new and gently-used children’s essentials. This can look like sorting and wrapping loose diapers, making clothing kits for parents and babies to serve 1 individual for a week, packing diaper orders, organizing our bookshelf, nursing supplies, or whatever the need may be that day. Bring a family member, a group of friends/coworkers, or come alone and support your community by volunteering at the Sharehouse. See you there!
